I enjoy work as part of a team for The Prairie Enthusiasts. Together we restored this oak savanna, removing dense brush and trees that shaded the understory. Now the forest floor gets more light, leading to better quality groundcover.

This remnant prairie was overcrowded with Autumn Olive and other brush. The Lake Carroll Prairie Club, and I as a member, all volunteered our time to remove the brush and restore the prairie
